Veteran NBA guard Cory Joseph is heading overseas for his next stop. Joseph is close to a deal with EuroLeague side AS Monaco.

Monaco was recently hit with a fine and transfer ban by the EuroLeague due to financial and regulatory compliance issues. That will need to be resolved before Joseph's signing can be made official.

Joseph spent the first 14 years of his career in the NBA. The veteran point guard has played for the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors and Orlando Magic in the NBA.

Last season, Joseph became the Magic's starting point guard after an injury to Jalen Suggs. The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 3.5 points and helped stabilize Orlando's offense after Suggs was lost for the season.
