James Nnaji committed to Baylor on Wednesday, sources told The Athletic.
Nnaji, who was the No. 31 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, was awarded four years of college eligibility by the NCAA.
The 21-year-old was originally selected by the Pistons, then traded to the Hornets. His rights were traded to the Knicks as part of a deal involving Karl-Anthony Towns.
Nnaji never played in the NBA or G League, making him eligible for college.
Nnaji has played professionally overseas since getting drafted. Nnaji also averaged 3.2 points and 3.6 rebounds for the Knicks in Summer League in 2025.
