Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff will coach one of the three All-Star teams at next month's NBA All-Star Game. Bickerstaff's Pistons will go into the All-Star break with the top record in the Eastern Conference.

The All-Star Game is taking on a new format this year. There will be three teams of All-Stars, with two representing players from the United States and one team made up of international players. They will play a round robin mini-tournament consisting of quarter-length games. the two teams with the best records will then play a quarter-length final to determine the champion.
