Sacramento Kings guard Keon Ellis is considered by many to be the most likely player to be traded ahead of the trade deadline. Ellis has a very tradable $2.3 million contract for this season. However, the Kings have set a high asking price for the fourth-year guard.

Sacramento is said to be looking for a first-round pick to part with Ellis. This is despite the fact that he's fallen out of Doug Christie's rotation. On the season, Ellis has averaged 5.3 points, as his minutes have dropped to just 17.3 per game. Ellis' shooting has also fallen off, but that could be explained by his inconsistent role under Christie.

The 6-foot-4 guard is set to be an unrestricted free agent this summer. Ellis will be extension-eligible shortly after the trade deadline. A team that acquires would be bound by extending him for no more than is allowed via the extend-and-trade rules, which make it likely that Ellis would reach free agency this July.
