The Memphis Grizzlies have signed forward Rayan Rupert to a two-way contract. 

Rupert (6-8, 205) has appeared in five games as a reserve for the Grizzlies and has averaged 10.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.6 steals in 26.6 minutes since signing a 10-day contract on Feb. 22. The 21-year-old has played 53 games this season for the Grizzlies and Portland Trail Blazers.

A native of Strasbourg, France, Rupert has competed in 144 career regular season games (12 starts) and has averaged 3.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in 12.5 minutes in three seasons with the Grizzlies and Trail Blazers. He was drafted by Portland with the 43rd overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft following one season with the New Zealand Breakers of the National Basketball League (NBL) in Australia.
