The Sacramento Kings are signing guard Killian Hayes to a two-year contract. Hayes recently completed a pair of 10 Day deals with Sacramento.

In 10 games with the Kings, Hayes has averaged 3.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 15.3 minutes per game. The 6-foot-4 point guard was praised by Sacramento head coach Doug Christie for his defense and preparedness.

Hayes was formerly the seventh overall pick by the Detroit Pistons in the 2020 NBA Draft. After four seasons with the Pistons, Hayes spent time with the Brooklyn Nets last season around G League stints with the Long Island Nets. This season, the sixth-year veteran had played for the Cleveland Charge of the G League before being called up by the Kings.
