Terry Rozier is expected to be waived by the Miami Heat before the conclusion of the regular season in order to create a roster spot ahead of the playoffs.

Rozier has been away from the Heat since his October 23rd arrest as part of a federal investigation into illegal gambling. Rozier must be waived by April 9th to clear waivers before the end of the regular season on April 12th.

Rozier is on a $26.6 million expiring salary with the Heat. Rozier has pled not guilty to conspiracy charges of wire fraud and money laundering.

Rozier appeared in 64 games with the Heat last season, averaging 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 25.9 minutes.
