Darius Acuff Jr. has been strongly linked with the Sacramento Kings, who own the seventh overall pick. The Kings have a need at point guard and Acuff would give them a dynamic option at the position after trading away Tyrese Haliburton in 2022 and De'Aaron Fox in 2025.

Acuff's father played for Kings' general manager Scott Perry at Eastern Kentucky in the late 1990s. Acuff is represented by Justin Haynes and Bill Duffy.

Acuff averaged 23.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.4 assists in 36 games in his freshman season at Arkansas.
