Between the 00-01 and 09-10 seasons, there have been 50 players named to the WAC All-Conference First Team.

Which teams have had the most representatives?

Nevada: 10

Nick Fazekas was the WAC Player of the Year in all three seasons he was on the First Team, capping a four-year run for the top award of the conference that began with Kirk Snyder in 2004. Snyder was also a First Team selection as a sophomore in 2003.

Luke Babbitt was a First Team selection in each of his two seasons at Nevada, with the second season being a Player of the Year campaign.

Armon Johnson was named to the First Team as a sophomore in 2009, but not in his final season at Nevada as a junior.

Utah State: 6

Jaycee Carroll has twice been a First Team selection and won Player of the Year honors as a senior in 2008.

Nate Harris and more recently Gary Wilkinson, Jared Quayle and Tai Wesley each have one nod.

Fresno State: 5

Melvin Ely was a First Team selection and Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002.

Also representing the Bulldogs in the post-Jerry Tarkanian era have been Kevin Bell, Damon Jackson and Chris Jefferies.

Lottery pick Paul George was a Second Team selection as a sophomore in 2010.

Hawaii: 5

Anthony Carter's former school has had two First Team nods from Predgra Savovic and one apiece for Carl English, Michael Kuebler and Julian Sensley.

New Mexico State: 5

Justin Hawkins and Jahmar Young have each been named to the First Team twice, while Tyrone Nelson has the fifth nod.

Louisiana Tech: 4

Paul Millsap was a First Team selection in 2005 and 2006, but he lost out on Player of the Year honors to Fazekas both times. Millsap's bank account, however, has a few more zeroes now.

Gerrod Henderson and Antonio Meeking were named to the First Team in 2002 and 2003 respectively.

Boise State: 3

The football team has had Ryan Clady, Kyle Wilson, Korey Hall, Chris Carr and a host of other NFL players, but when it comes to basketball, Coby Karl, Aaron Haynes and Reggie Larry have reached the First Team plateau.

UTEP: 3

I may always think Tim Hardaway when I hear about Miners, but Filberto Rivera was a two-time First Team member and Omar Thomas joined him in 2005.

Southern Methodist: 2

Quinton Ross and Damon Hancock each made one appearance during on the First Team during the timeframe, with Ross being the 2003 Player of the Year.

Tulsa: 2

Tulsa went to Conference-USA for the 05-06 season, so they have been left with Greg Harrington and Kevin Johnson and the WAC wasn't graced by the presence of Jerome Jordan and Ben Uzoh.

San Jose State: 1

As someone who remembers seeing former first round pick Ricky Berry play in person, the dearth of quality players to come out of San Jose State over the past 20 seasons has been disappointing. Other than Tariq Abdul-Wahad/Oliver Saint-Jean, the Spartans have had a lean run, but Adrian Oliver was a First Team selection in 2010.

Idaho: 1

Mac Hopson was a First Team selection for the Vandals in 2009.
