USA Basketball's training camp in Las Vegas will end Saturday night with an intrasquad game at the Thomas & Mack Center.
The roster will be trimmed sometime after that before Team USA reconvenes in New York next month for the World Championships to be held in Turkey Aug. 28-Sept. 12.
"We have time on our side in terms of selection," USA Basketball chairman Jerry Colangelo said Friday.
"We're still talking about 14 or 15 going to New York. Names could change a little bit based on today and based on what we see tomorrow night, because we're giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. If there are any close calls we may even take an extra guy. We'll see."

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were scheduled to arrive on Wednesday night in Las Vegas, where Team USA is holding a minicamp in preparation for the 2010 World Championships.
James and Wade declined to play for Team USA this summer, but they remain on the roster and in the mix to play for the 2012 Olympic team.
"LeBron and D-Wade are coming in tonight, and Chris Paul is here. But we had invited all of our guys to stop in, both here and in New York [for training camp Aug. 9-15]," Team USA managing director Jerry Colangelo said. "That's all there is to it. We don't have any plan for them.
"[A meeting with the team] may happen and it may not, but we wanted them around, and they're here," Colangelo said. "So that's really it."
