Emmanuel Akot Reclassifies To Join Arizona One Year Early

Emmanuel Akot will graduate from high school early and enroll at Arizona next season.

Akot previously committed to Arizona as a 2018 incoming freshman.

"After much thought, my family and I have decided to join the 2017 class and become a member of the Arizona Basketball family next season," Akot wrote in a tweet.

Akot is versatile wing who was ranked No. 21 in the class of 2018.

Akot will join DeAndre Ayton, Brandon Randolph, Ira Lee and Alex Barcello as top 100 prospects for Arizona.

O'Neal is a 6'8 power forward from Crossroad School in Santa Monica ranked No. 19 in the class of 2018.

O'Neal is the son of Shaquille O'Neal.

Lauri Markkanen has announced he will leave Arizona for the NBA Draft.

Markkanen is expected to be a top-10 pick in the draft.

Markkanen averaged 15.6 points and 7.2 rebounds for the Wildcats while shooting 42.3 percent on three-pointers.
