The Detroit News reports that Chris Webber has been wined and dined by at least three teams: Indiana, Detroit and San Antonio. A meeting with Sacramento should take place later this week.

While the Kings can exceed the salary cap to retain Webber and the Pistons have room under the salary cap, Indiana and San Antonio face tougher odds. The Pacers would undoubtedly have to begin their sign-and-trade package with Jermaine O'Neal. When asked about this possibility, Pacers GM Donnie Walsh told the Indianapolis Star, "I think that would be a deal-breaker."

San Antonio would have to embark on a massive renouncing spree to sign Webber. The cost could be David Robinson, Sean Elliott and Avery Johnson. The Spurs could work the numbers and find a way to keep from renouncing Derek Anderson, however.
