Are the Bulls prepared to offer Toronto free agent Antonio Davis a 5 year deal worth $65 million to join the young squad?  According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune this was one scenarion circulating Tuesday, although a Bull source denied the offer and Davis' agent - who could not be reached for comment - said during the weekend that he and the Bulls had yet to discuss specific contract numbers.

The Bulls offer, if it is true, is higher than the  four- or five-year contract averaging $11 million annually that is being offered by the Raptors.  Chicago however, is rumored to be hoping to sign Davis for less than the Raptors offer so they can also sign Hornets free agent Eddie Robinson.  Any offers to the value of $4.5 million Charlotte can match in order to retain the free agent.

In other news, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that the Bulls may be involved in a three way trade with Sacramento which involves Doug Christie and an unnamed team.  Christie and his agent have been unhappy (to say the least) with the Kings offer, and with Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf hanging around the Berto perhaps something is cooking?
