The New York Post says it best: the Knicks, who have their fishing poles in several small ponds, have stuck another one into the ocean, looking to catch a big fish.

The Knicks have contacted David Robinson's agent, Jeff Austin, to express their interest. And though it's a longshot and hinges completely on C-Webb signing with the Spurs, Robinson considers New York a possibility.

"He would have interest in New York," Austin told The Post. "It would be a team he'd be interested in. The Spurs are still his first choice and there's still a chance. But New York would be a possibility. I think it would be difficult, though."
