The Chicago Bulls are apparently close to acquiring veteran point guard Greg Anthony from the Portland Trailblazers for a draft pick, according to a league source.  The Chicago Sun-Times reports that 'Jerry Krause was looking to add a veteran guard to help his young team, and Anthony, 33, fits the bill after just completing his 10th season.'  The Bulls were also interested in free agent Alvin Williams, but Williams looks likely to re-sign in Toronto.  The Sun-Times is reporting that Anthony may be on board before Thursday's News Conference introducing Charles Oakley, who was acquired from Toronto (not yet official), but with the NBA today announcing an interim cap of $35,956,000 and the imminent signing of forward Eddie Robinson, RealGM doubts that the trade can go through with the cap in its current state.
