If you are an NBA Superstar, Michael Jordan needs your help.  The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that you are needed at Hoops the Gym this week to participate in Michael Jordan's Comeback Academy II as a prelude to his possible third coming.  He will duel you, play you hard, try to dominate you in an effort to see whether he can still do this on a full time basis.  Forget Barkley, he will not be making a comeback - even though he has got his weight down.

Now comes the strenuous last phase of his conditioning program to determine if he can live up to his tradition of reporting to training camp on Oct. 2 in NBA playing shape, writes Lacy Banks.

''While most other players come to camp to play their way into shape, Jordan always worked out hard during the summer and came to camp in shape,'' Grover said. ''Then he'd just concentrate on fine-tuning his game, working on his timing and other details.  I'd like to see Jordan take an extra week or two instead of using the middle of September to make his decision. After all, he'll have a whole month of preseason workouts to accomplish whatever he can't in these next three or four weeks.''
