Monday was supposed to be the day that Michael Jordan announced to the world his plans to come back to the NBA and play for the Washington Wizards, but Estee Portnoy, vice president of marketing and client services for SFX, announced that nothing was going to happen that day.  Michael has not finalized his decision," said Portnoy.  "Nothing is going to be announced today."

Steve Wyche of the Washington Post reports that Jordan's decision has been made and he will return. The announcement has been delayed while he clears up some business affairs.

Jordan has decided to end three years of retirement, give up his executive roles as part owner and president of basketball operations with the Washington Wizards and play for the Wizards. Official word could come Tuesday, Wednesday or as late as the team's media day Oct. 1, league and team sources said.

Will that happen tomorrow, no one knows, but the question most people seem to be asking is 'Why?'  Why is he doing it, and will he still have control over personnel while he is on the court, at least unofficially? And if so, how will his coach and players react to this?
