John Denton of the Florida Today reports: Already the Orlando Magic's most dynamic player, Tracy McGrady has every intention now of becoming his team's emotional leader.

I said 60 wins this summer as soon as I found out about the additions of Patrick (Ewing) and Horace (Grant) and I'm still saying 60 wins and a spot in the Finals," McGrady said during the Magic's media day on Monday. We should take the East. It's ours. I have enough confidence in my team that I think we can do that. I may eat my words, but you've got to be confident in yourself and your team. You've got to set goals high and work up to them. I think with me stepping out and saying we're getting 60 wins, I think it will rub off and everybody else will follow me."

All indications are that Grant Hill's surgically repaired left ankle is healthy and he is close to returning to the form that made him a six-time all-star.

Nobody (in the East) is better than us," McGrady said. Toronto brought everybody back and will be contending. We're not scared of Philly. Just look what we did to them last year when we dominated them. Milwaukee will be strong, too. But I think we're capable of winning the East. It's there for us to take."
