At about the same time Jason Williams was named co-captain in Memphis, he was being slapped with a law suit from his time in Sacramento.  The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports that Williams is being sued for extensive damage to an exclusive $1 million home he rented during his playing days with the Sacramento Kings.  Damage was estimated at $35-40,000.

"It's worse than if a bunch of fraternity kids had had an extended party," according to the owner's lawyer.  This is countered by Williams' lawyer saying, "I've had people look at the house, and they say it's normal wear and tear,"

Continuing the roller coaster ride, the Sports Network reports that Williams' contract has been extended.  He would have become a free agent next July.  Terms of the deal aren't available yet.
