MAGIC UPDATE: The Magic lost at home to Seattle Monday night and left immediately after the game for San Antonio. The Magic have not played well in San Antonio recently, losing eight of their past nine games.

SPURS UPDATE: Their early season has been mixed. They are coming off a dreadful performance Sunday in Sacramento, where they were hardly competitive after falling behind early. Center David Robinson missed all eight of his shots in that game and left after just 16 minutes. They made some changes in the off season, replacing Avery Johnson as the point guard with former backup Antonio Daniels. They also added Steve Smith in place of Derek Anderson at shooting guard. They added Bruce Bowen, formerly of Miami, as a small forward.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Robinson likely will rebound from his poor performance Sunday, and Tim Duncan probably will play well against Horace Grant at power forward. Magic reserve Patrick Ewing will play significant minutes against Robinson. The Magic are on the second-half of back-to-back games and may have trouble with slow legs. Tracy McGrady should be able to control Steve Smith in a matchup of shooting guards. If the Spurs use Bowen against him, then the ball will go more to Grant Hill.
