The Tony Parker Experiment is three games old, and so far he hasn't blown up the lab.

Only conventional thinking.

Too young to start in the NBA, it was said. Too young to star.

Evidently, he is not.

Only 3 years old when Terry Porter broke into the league, Parker is creating smoke and sparks for the Spurs, everything but a raging inferno.

Saturday night he scorched Atlanta for 19 points. He sank three treys. He dealt eight assists, grabbed four rebounds, made two steals.

And you know what?

Even after the Spurs won, 110-88, to go 3-0 with Parker at the point, even after this 19-year-old rookie dished and drove and dove for loose balls, Gregg Popovich was still asking himself:

Did I make the right decision?
