Jeff Van Gundy's patience is thinner than the Knicks' front line and yesterday the coach hinted that a lineup change, possibly in the form of Howard Eisley, could be in order reports the New York Daily News.

"I want to wait on some of our guys," he said. "One through nine are not performing very well. You want to wait on some of them but at the same time there is an urgency that if we're not getting it done we have to put more defenders in the lineup. If we're not shooting well, try to find someone else who will put the ball in the basket."

Eisley was demoted to third-string point guard before the season opener. If the Knicks continue to falter, there is a strong possibility that Eisley would replace Charlie Ward in the rotation.
