And no, we are not talking from an abusive perspective either.  The Bulls are in the midst of a nine game losing streak, have no fit small forwards on the active roster, and have a veteran power forward who is not producing like he should or how he wants.  Enter Charles Oakley.

A 4.2 point average on .311 shooting going into today's game against the Knicks is not something that Oakley or the Bulls like to see, especially when his career average is over 10.  His scoreless effort today did not help things, but Oakley realises that more is needed of him if the Bulls are to win more games, and he is looking to rectify the situation.

''It's not really good,'' Oakley said of his game. ''My shot is off right now.''

Although Oakley is satisfied with his defensive and rebounding efforts, coach Tim Floyd believes that the shot will come, just like it did when the Bulls played Toronto last year.  ''I remember a stretch last season when he was 3-of-29 or something from three-point range, until he saw us in Toronto and he made six straight.  He'll be fine,'' said Floyd.
