After the Pistons' shootaround, Jerry Stackhouse said he would sit out Friday's game against the Hawks but test his strained left groin tonight against Memphis.

Stackhouse injured his groin early in the third quarter Wednesday night at Philadelphia when he was going in for a lay-up.

After receiving treatment from Arnie Kander, the strength and conditioning coach, on Thanksgiving and Friday afternoon, Stackhouse said he needed an extra day.

"It's not as tight, but I just want to wait and be sure," he said.
