In a year that has contained mostly dull stars to this point, Brad Miller shines.  If he continues to shine through to the end of the season, raising his rebound average just a little, he will be set to make history for the Bulls.  Hands up who can name the last Bulls' center to average a double-double in a season.  If you said Elton Brand you are wrong.

Artis Gilmore averaged 18.5 points and 10.2 rebounds in the 1981-82 season.  Yes, that is 20 whole years ago.  Miller is averaging 16.3 points and 9.2 rebounds thus far, and certainly appears on target to reach the goal. "I think I can," Miller said.  "Then again, I haven't accomplished [anything]," Miller added. "It has been only 12 games. Check with me after 50 games to see if that can happen."

In other Bulls news Eddie Robinson seems to be leaning towards surgery rather than take the 'wait and see' approach.  Robinson, who is getting restless enough to begin shooting on the side of practice despite his sore big left toe, said he'd rather undergo surgery now to eliminate his problem, which is a sesamoid fracture.
