The LA Times reports that Michael Olowokandi's agent said Monday that felony charges of cohabitant abuse, false imprisonment and robbery against the Clipper center had been withdrawn by a former girlfriend.

A spokesman for the Manhattan Beach Police Department, however, said that an investigation was continuing and that Olowokandi remains free on bail of $50,000.

According to the Orange County Register, Susan Ketcham, 23, a former girlfriend of Olowokandi's, said she called the police Saturday.

"I did call the police, but my head was a mess," Ketcham said. "When I heard that Michael got charged with three felonies I said, 'Oh, my God.' This has all been blown completely out of proportion. The detectives told me that once I make a call, it's out of my hands."

Olowokandi said the trouble began Thursday when Ketcham broke into his house and he called the police.

"They said they were going to have her arrested for breaking and entering, but I said I didn't want them to do that," Olowokandi said. "I was going to get a restraining order, but we left town before I could do that."
