To get this low, the Rockets had to hit rock bottom -- and keep on digging.

NBA purgatory now has company. The Rockets made their bid for a place as the league's worst team of the moment Tuesday when even the hapless Bulls were more than they could handle in a 103-75 rout that extended the Rockets' losing streak to seven games. The losing streak is the Rockets' longest since losing eight straight late in their 1999-2000 nose dive to 34-48 and the draft lottery.

"We should be embarrassed," Rockets forward Glen Rice said. "There's no way in hell we should have been looking at Chicago as an easy win."
