If there was one Knick who must've been happy to see Marcus Camby return to the lineup, it was Latrell Sprewell. Since Camby's return five games ago, the swingman is playing some of his best basketball, and so are the Knicks. In the five games since Camby's return, Sprewell is averaging 26.2 points on 47 percent shooting, and the Knicks - just 10-9 overall - have won four of those five.
After yesterday's practice, Sprewell shrugged off the way his hot streak has boosted the team, saying "[Allan Houston and I] take the majority of the shots. As we go, so goes the team. That's to be expected, I guess." And Camby said he knew his high-energy style would help lift Sprewell, who is a high-octane player himself.
