When the Knicks got off to a 5-8 start, some within the team wondered why it was taking Marcus Camby so long to declare himself healthy. But five games into Camby's season, it looks as if the Knicks' starting center was smart to sit out an extra few days.

"I definitely think I made the right decision," Camby, who missed the first 14 games with a sore left foot, said after practice Thursday. "I wasn't going to come back until I felt I was well enough to help the team."
