When: 10 p.m., KeyArena, Seattle.

Broadcast: TV -- SUN. Radio -- WIOD (610-AM), WACC (830-AM).

About the Heat: The Heat hasn't won since the last time these teams met -- Nov. 6 in Miami -- when Eddie Jones hit the winning shot in an 87-85 OT victory. Jones has a bruised right knee but practiced Thursday and will play tonight. The Heat has lost 12 in a row and is 0-6 on the road. The Heat is 0-13 all-time against the Sonics in Seattle, the only team it has never defeated away from Miami. Reserve 7-foot-1 C Vladimir Stepania originally was drafted in the first round by the Sonics in 1998 and played there for two seasons. Because no one in Seattle's starting front line is under 6-10, Stepania should see some action. He scored 10 points in the first meeting. Swingman Kendall Gill hasn't played since fracturing his left pinky against Seattle and isn't expected back for two more weeks. F Malik Allen (left leg tendinitis) and C Ernest Brown (jammed right thumb) are on the injured list.

About the Sonics: Like the Heat, the 9-12 Sonics are struggling in the fourth quarter. In Wednesday's 95-91 loss to the Pistons they made 11 of 20 foul shots and committed a season-high 21 turnovers. PF Vin Baker missed four free throws and committed a turnover down the stretch. Point guard Gary Payton notched a triple-double with 21 points, 12 assists and 15 rebounds, one shy of his career high. Although Payton, 33, has been involved in trade rumors, along with the oft-criticized Baker, he remains among the league leaders in points (21.9) and assists (9.2). Former Heat guard Brent Barry (17 games in '97-98) has found a home in the Seattle backcourt. The 6-6 son of Hall of Famer Rick Barry is averaging 13.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists and leads the team with 44 3-pointers (42.7 percent). The Sonics, who are playing their fourth game in six days, are 21-6 all-time against the Heat. Reserve G Desmond Mason, last year's Slam Dunk champion, is on the injured list with a sprained right knee, as is F Antonio Harvey (knee tendinitis) and 7-0 C Jerome James (sprained right foot). C Calvin Booth has been hampered by tendinitis in his right ankle, but will play.
