There is rebounding, and there is rebounding.

Rebounding, as in rendering the five-game losing streak an afterthought. And rebounding, as in cleaning the backboards with a vengeance.

In a noteworthy three-day span that covered two recuperative games, the Milwaukee Bucks accomplished both.

With their best overall performance of the season, the Bucks continued the recovery process Saturday night with a 95-79 blowout of the Atlantic Division-leading New Jersey Nets before a sellout crowd at the Bradley Center.

A season-high 57 rebounds, which included 18 from Ervin Johnson and 12 by Anthony Mason, illuminated the dominance of the Bucks (11-6) against New Jersey, which entered the game No. 2 in the league in rebounding. For the Bucks, who had risen to an ignominious 27th by outrebounding Toronto in their previous victory, that was an accomplishment, notwithstanding the fact that 33.3% shooting by the Nets (12-7) created a ton of loose balls.
