Seattle SuperSonics rookie forward Vladimir Radmanovic has a sprained ankle, which will keep him out of action Sunday when the Sonics meet the Orlando Magic at KeyArena.

But that game also could mark the return of Sonics swingman Desmond Mason.

The addition and subtraction of healthy players was the key topic Friday as Sonics coach Nate McMillan ran his players through a two-hour practice on the second day of a rare three-day break between games.

Radmanovic sprained his ankle Wednesday night in Los Angeles during a blowout loss to the Clippers. X-rays taken Thursday came back negative. However, the sprain caused significant swelling and limits Radmanovic's movement and the amount of pressure he can apply.

The injury will sideline him through the weekend, and his status will likely be day-to-day thereafter.

Better news came regarding Mason, who went through an energetic practice Friday for the first time since hurting his knee on Dec. 2 against Milwaukee.

"I'm ready to go," Mason said. "I've never in my life sat out this many games. It's hard watching the team that you love playing with out there playing without you."
