Wednesday's 102-90 loss to Toronto wasn't the first time the Indiana Pacers have believed they were shortchanged by the officials.

They've felt that way at other times this season, and several times last season, and they're mystified by it.

"We've been getting these type of calls all year," Jermaine O'Neal said. "We get absolutely killed on shots and we don't get the calls.

"It's hard to stay composed when other people are clearly determining the game.

"You try to understand, but you really can't understand."

O'Neal seemed to have the best arguments against the performance of officials Bennett Salvatore, Leon Wood and Scott Wall. But he doesn't believe he's been singled out for unfair treatment.

O'Neal has a theory about the officials.
