Most players wouldn't dare comment on another team's struggles, especially if they were playing on their league's worst club.

But that just wouldn't be Charles Oakley.

The former Toronto forward couldn't resist Thursday, responding to a question from reporters regarding the Raptors' slow start this season.

"I think leadership and demanding things from the team and themselves," Oakley said after the morning shootaround at Air Canada Centre.

"They've got good athletes, but that doesn't win games by itself," he added.

That could be construed as a shot to star forward Vince Carter, whom Oakley continually challenged last season to be a better leader.
