Eddy Curry hasn?t played at all during past 4 games, and don't think for a second that he his hurt. Coach Tim Floyd, the person responsible for keeping Curry off the floor, announced to the media that he has decided to take a better look the talented rookie, stating that he'll not only play him but extend his average playing time.  The move comes at a cost, with Charles Oakley's role being  reduced or perhaps even eliminated.

"He's the coach. He does what he has to do. I don't have any problems with Tim," Oakley said. "Hey, we ain't going to make the playoffs. Maybe he should play all the young guys."

Oakley missed practice Friday to have an MRI exam on a sore right elbow, which may be an excuse for his reduced role on the worst team in the NBA or reality.  Oakley has complained about soreness throughout the year, which may explain his poor shooting display, and the injury may keep him out of the lineup or even cause him a spell in the injured reserve.
