According to the Arizona Republic, Suns coach Scott Skiles has been threatening to make changes in his starting lineup. He acted on it at the start of the second half Saturday night against the Kings.

Skiles told the Suns in the locker room at halftime that he wanted the same group that ended the first half back on the floor to start the second. That meant relegating Penny Hardaway and Tom Gugliotta to the bench.

"No real reason," Skiles said when asked about the move. "Just a coach's decision. We were 6-8 in our last 14 games, and I'm doing anything I can to win a game." And he isn't ruling anything out for Tuesday's game at Utah.

"Now we're 6-9 in our last 15," he said. "I think right now we need to think about how to win a game Tuesday night." Both Hardaway and Gugliotta, each coming off knee injuries, said they were physically fine.
