Amid speculation that coach Scott Skiles' job might be in jeopardy in the wake of the Suns' four-game losing streak and 10 losses in their past 16 outings, general manager Bryan Colangelo gave Skiles a vote of confidence during Wednesday's practice, according to the rizona Republic.

"Right now, Scott is our coach and we have confidence in his ability to put this thing on track," Colangelo said. "Right now, it's not on track and we have a lot of work to do."

Right now?

Colangelo later amended his comments during a lengthy interview, eliminating the tentative time frame: "He's our coach, and we have confidence in him and think he's the right guy to do the job."
