Without Finley for the second straight game, the Mavericks showed just how they plan to fill in for him in their 111-89 cruise past the New York Knicks on Thursday in a sold-out American Airlines Center.

The plan, for starters, includes Nowitzki doing just fine as the team's go-to player, as he led the Mavericks with 29 points and 13 rebounds.

The plan also includes a well-rested and effective Nash, who might not be quite as tired as he thought if his first-quarter effort against the Knicks is any indication.
