Celtics small forward Eric Williams is known to play both ends of the court with such grit that it's difficult to determine who has it worse: the player he guards or the player who guards him.

In last night's thrilling 101-100 victory over the New York Knicks at the FleetCenter, Williams figured prominently in 30 minutes of action. But it was in the game's closing moments that he kicked things up another notch.

With 32.9 seconds to go, Williams drained a 3-pointer from the right corner off an Erick Strickland penetration and kickout pass to put the C's up, 98-96.
