While his teammates continue to lobby for him to be selected for the dunk contest during All-Star Weekend next weekend in Philadelphia, Kedrick Brown is focusing his attention on his all-around game.

That single-minded approach worked well for him during the Celtics' 106-97 victory over Toronto last night at the FleetCenter.

Getting his second straight start in place of fellow rookie Joe Johnson, Brown scored 12 points on 5-for-8 shooting and added four steals and two rebounds in 26 minutes. For the majority of three quarters, he guarded Raptors star Vince Carter, who finished with 26 points on subpar 10-for-26 shooting.
