It wasn't that long ago the Celtics were the picture of good health. But as they embark on the second half of the schedule tonight against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Celtics' training room is beginning to resemble a M*A*S*H unit.

Kedrick Brown, who suffered a severely sprained right ankle on Wednesday, is not expected to return until after the All-Star break. The rookie swingman, who had moved from the end of the bench to a starting role for three straight games before misfortune struck in the first quarter of the Celtics' 98-94 victory over Indiana, was placed on the injured list yesterday. Fellow rookie Joseph Forte will take his place on the active roster.
