While Keith Van Horn is mired in a slump, rookie backup Richard Jefferson is taking on more of his minutes.

The New York Times' Steve Popper reports that Van Horn has admitted he has felt lost in recent games.

But more than the numbers has been the visible uncertainty. If Jefferson's confidence seems to grow with every game, Van Horn's seems to shrink with every possession.

"I'd be more concerned if Richard wasn't playing well because he's coming off the bench and giving us points, rebounds, doing a little bit of anything," Nets Coach Byron Scott said. "So it kind of offsets Keith not playing well right now.
