Memphis back-up point guard Brevin Knight went down in the third quarter with an ankle injury.  He came back for a few minutes, but left the game for good with nine minutes left.  After Knight's departure, the Grizz went nearly five minutes without a point.  That meant a two point deficit to the Rockets (minus Steve Francis) became an 85-78 loss.

The Grizz are probably the team hardest hit by injuries this season.

Regular point guard Jason Williams has missed the last seven games following surgery for ingrown toenails (lol).
Shooting guard Michael Dickerson has missed all but the first four games, and may miss the remainder of the season.

Stromile Swift has missed most of the past 10 games (also with a toe injury).  Lorenzen Wright should be playing soon after missing all but the first 15 games.  And of course Bryant Reeves didn't even reach the starting line.

With six of the team's best nine players unavailable, that leaves rookies Pau Gasol and Shane Battier on the floor with second- and third-string players.
