John Stockton is paying close attention to current events in Salt Lake City, while Karl Malone has caught only brief glimpses of the Olympics.

Despite their varying degrees of interest in the event that has taken over their home city, Stockton and Malone are in sync when it comes to their immediate task - winning games during their monster road trip.

Malone had 27 points and 16 rebounds, rookie Jarron Collins scored 19 and Utah closed the game with a 16-5 run to defeat the struggling New York Knicks 92-89 Sunday night.

The Jazz played the sixth in a string of nine consecutive road games and won for the fourth straight time.

Utah has also defeated Indiana, Philadelphia and Toronto since the All-Star break and can extend its winning streak to five Monday night against Cleveland. Utah has won seven of nine overall.
