But if the Rockets had any chance to salvage some pride, Michael Redd scorched them as no one ever had to send them home with a 115-76 embarrassment and on the wrong side of a few league and franchise records.

"They neutralized us by outscoring us overwhelmingly, by thirty-something points," Rockets guard Steve Francis said.

That would do it.

But the Bucks didn't stop there. Redd had made his only shot of the night, a 3-pointer, when he started the fourth quarter against a collection of the Rockets' rookies from this season and last. He quickly drained five 3-pointers in five minutes, made a layup, then nailed three more treys.

When he was through, the Bradley Center crowd was calling his name and booing anyone else who came close to scoring. Redd gave them 26 fourth-quarter points, the most ever against the Rockets in a quarter and more than anyone in the NBA had scored in a quarter this season.
