The Pistons overcame Cliff Robinson's suspension and Jerry Stackhouse's foul trouble in defeating Michael Jordan-less Washington, 97-90, Wednesday night before a sellout crowd of 22,076 at the Palace.

The Pistons' fourth straight victory and 14th in 18 games kept them tied with Milwaukee atop the Central Division at 30-22.

Center Zeljko Rebraca, starting in place of Robinson, had 12 points and eight rebounds as six Pistons scored in double figures.

Three of them were the only reserves the Pistons used: Corliss Williamson had 22 points, Damon Jones 17 and Jon Barry 12.

"Their bench had 51 points," Washington coach Doug Collins said. "They have a good bench. We have no answers for Corliss Williamson. Damon Jones hit some big baskets."
