The trade deadline has passed and Bulls guard Greg Anthony is still here, the potential trade to the Minnesota Timberwolves voided when trading partner Dean Garrett was shipped to the Golden State Warriors instead for Marc Jackson.  This means Anthony's playoff hopes in 2002 are dashed, right?  Maybe not.

Anthony is talking about a similar situation to which Charles Oakley was rumored to be discussing with the Bulls where he'd be waived and before March 1, then being free to sign with whatever team he wishes.

"I have a good relationship with [general manager] Jerry Krause and we'll have some talks the next few days," Anthony said. "If it doesn't work out and I end up having to be here, I'll just be one of many [point guards]."

With Krause already stating in the past that he doesn't like paying players to play elsewhere coupled with coach Bill Cartwright's words stating that such a move is unlikely Anthony will most likely remain a Chicago Bull, this season at least.

In other Bulls new Jamal Crawford is very happy with the Bulls acquisition of Jalen Rose, stating that the only reason he went to Michigan was because of Rose.

"I was in the seventh or eighth grade, and I dreamed of going to Michigan because he was a tall point guard, like me," Crawford said. "I loved the Fab Five, but he was the leader."

More bad news for the Bulls on the Eddie Robinson front, Robinson aggrivating his groin during practice and is now set to miss at least another week, which is nothing new to Bulls fans.
