All their leaders from last season's 15 wins side are gone.  Elton Brand, Ron Mercer, Ron Artest, even big bad Brad Miller.  When GM Jerry Krause traded Brand on draft night to the Los Angeles Clippers for the rights to a high school player named Tyson Chandler everyone thought the Bulls would suck much worse.  One step back two steps forward was one thing that was said, and the word 'gamble' came up a lot.  Some even said Krause had doomed the franchise for decades to come.

Yesterday's win over Golden State in Chicago, but Bulls third straight making them 3-0 since the Jalen Rose trade, meant this team has already equalled the win mark from the Bulls of yester-year, and there are still 27 games remaining in the season.  Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry are both starting and shining, Marcus Fizer has been a force off the bench, Trenton Hassell has been solid and new acquisitions Jalen Rose plus Travis Best have been the glue which holds the team together since arriving in Chicago.

Jalen Rose recently set a goal that Chicago should win at least half of it's remaining games, and to get the fan's perspective nba.com ran a poll seeing if they thought this was achievable.  At the time of this writing 68% of the 71,489 who had voted thought they could.  Times seem to be changing in the Windy City...
