Ben Wallace continued his strong play Sunday in the Pistons' 89-82 loss to the Bucks.

His triple-double -- 17 rebounds, 10 blocked shots and 10 points -- improved his league-leading block average to 3.37 a game and his rebounding to 12.2, second to Tim Duncan's 12.9.

Wallace's blocked shot total tied the 76ers' Dikembe Mutombo for the NBA season high and matched the franchise record set by Edgar Jones on Dec. 17, 1981, against Indiana .

"An unbelievable performance by Ben," Pistons coach Rick Carlisle said. "I haven't seen a triple-double with blocked shots in many, many years, at least not one in person. It's too bad we didn't get the win. It would've made it a lot happier situation. Once again he was a man among men."
