Perhaps it was a forgone conclusion two months ago, but the Grizzlies have acknowledged that starting shooting guard Michael Dickerson won't suit up this season.

Ron Tillery reports that although Dickerson can walk without a limp, he isn't near ready to start running.  For the past six weeks Dickerson has been home in Seattle and up in Vancouver for therapy treatment.

Dickerson was expected to be the Grizzlies' leading scorer this season after the team traded away Mike Bibby and Shareef Abdur-Rahim.  His injury four games into the season changed that.  It also meant Shane Battier has spent most of the season at shooting guard rather than the small forward position he was drafted to play.
